Manastirski Livadi covers a broad area in the south-west of Sofia, developed largely over the past two decades on what were previously open fields. Its identity is defined by newer apartment buildings: mid-rise residential blocks, gated complexes and mixed schemes with shops and offices on the lower floors, rather than by an older historic core.
In municipal planning terms the area is divided. Manastirski Livadi-East falls within the Triaditsa district, while the western part is treated as a separate planning zone. The two sides differ in street layout, building density and the stage of their infrastructure, so it is worth being specific about which part a property is in; this guide covers the neighbourhood name as a whole unless a section states otherwise.
Bulgaria Boulevard runs along the eastern edge and is the main high-capacity route serving that side of the area, connecting northwards towards the centre and southwards to the ring road. Inside the area, the street network is a mixture of completed roads and streets that still reflect the pace at which construction has moved. We do not publish claims about planned road upgrades, future public-transport extensions or completion dates for infrastructure.
For residents the practical picture is a relatively young residential environment: modern building stock, a growing number of ground-floor shops, cafés and services, and the open southern edge of the city not far away. As everywhere on this site, prices, availability and property types are shown only from verified listings currently published with Imperium.
